DescribeIt is a demo project, not a commercial service. This page exists so the product has an honest answer about what happens to your writing.

The descriptions you write are stored so you can see your own history. If the app is running without a database configured, they are held in memory only and disappear when the server restarts.

When you ask for a correction, your description and the video reference text are sent to Google's Gemini API to be graded. Nothing else about you is included in that request.

Accounts here are mocked. No password is ever stored, hashed, or transmitted, and the demo logins are hardcoded in the source.
